Bossgirls Bootcamp

Bossgirls bootcamp is a summer program hosted by the Zahn Innovation Center for high school girls interested in business and entrepreneurship. Applications for this summer have closed, but they are a annual program, meaning you can apply for next summer when it opens.

In the program you will learn the “ins and outs” of running a business. You will work on a startup project with a group of girls in the program, and by the end, you and your group will pitch the start up to a panel of judges for prizes.

The program offers lots of valuable resources and connections with the Zahn Center that hosts it. You’ll have opportunities to find mentors and even participate in a fall fellowship once the six week summer program ends. For a video featuring a former participant from 2019, Miranda Zanoni, check out our latest post on Instagram, which can be accessed by clicking the icon at the bottom of the page. In it, she describes her experiences, which gives you a firsthand idea of what being part of Bossgirls is like.

As always, if you have any suggestions or submissions on what program we should feature next, contact us! Additionally, make sure to check out our Directory for more opportunities, and check back next Wednesday for another featured post.
